Navcon Software Products: Acoustic Intensity Mapping

Acoustic Intensity Map (AIMAP) is a MATLAB based program used for the processing and analysis of acoustic intensity and sound pressure data.  A graphical user interface allows the operator to load, tabulate and display measured intensity/pressure spectra, calculate component sound power levels and generate three dimensional contour maps.  AIMAP takes advantage of the powerful graphic capabilities of MATLAB.  For example, spectral plots can be copied into word processing and page layout programs, exported to EPS files, etc.  The 3D maps can be rotated, expanded, zoomed in/out, surfaces removed/added, etc.  Data import utilities are available for the Hewlett Packard 3569A, ASCII and MATLAB data files.   Navcon will develop import utilities for other analyzers upon request.
