SoundPLAN Calculation Program (Run-Kernel)

The Calculation Program consists of three elements.

  • Run File editor [calculation runs parameter are set and the data (situation) is assigned]
  • Log-Book [documents the calculation steps]
  • Graphic [graphic representation of the current computation, sound level diagrams for Single Point, noise contour map for Grid Map Calculation]

For each source type (road, rail road, industry, parking lot) the user defines the individual parameter settings for the standards and the computation type (Single Point, Facade Noise, Grid Noise Map). The Assessment Library allows to define and specify the assessment periods (Ld - day, Ln - night, Ldn - day/night, Ln,1hr - loudest hour during the night, etc.).
